A Pacific Street product
Every transaction in the right account. Questions before guesses.
QuéCompré categorizes your transaction files against your own chart of accounts. Anything it isn’t confident about goes to you in Slack, not onto your books.
How it works
Configured by you, not rebuilt for you.
Back-office categorization is a rules problem with a judgment tail. QuéCompré handles the rules and hands you the tail.
-
1
Define the job
Upload your list of categories, a sample of the fields to expect, and any house rules.
-
2
Send the file
Large transaction files go in. Each row is assigned to the correct account.
-
3
Answer the exceptions
Rows it can’t place with enough confidence arrive in Slack. Reply once and it finishes the job.
-
4
Receive the output
Update an existing Google Sheet, or get a new formatted file sent to you.
Control
A wrong guess is a cost. A question is a few minutes.
A miscategorized line is something someone pays to find later. So the agent’s rules say what it may decide alone and what must go to a person, and that threshold is yours to move.
- Escalates, doesn’t improvise. Low-confidence rows are asked about, never silently assigned.
- Where your team already works. Slack and Google Sheets. Nobody learns a new tool.
- Adjustable without a rebuild. Formats, channels and rules change through configuration.
- Tested before it touches real work. Agents are checked in Pacific Street’s Treadmill sandbox first.
Not replacing your bookkeeping software.
QuéCompré sits upstream of it: it does the part of the job agents are best at and leaves the system of record alone.
